Junegie Hong, Ph.D.
Founder and CEO
Junegie holds a Ph.D. in Physics and has been advancing efficiency in solar, utilizing his physics, material sciences, and battery knowledge for more than 20 years.
He worked at Samsung where he designed and implemented the solar cell production line for the R&D center. And at Air Liquide, he was responsible for structuring and representing Air Liquide to the French national solar initiative consoritum, as well as collaborating with Air Liquide's venture capital arm in carrying out complete due diligence assessments for all renewable energy sector startups Air Liquide wished to invest in. He was also the CTO of a solar technology startup where he was responsible for advancing the efficiency of solar cells.
Now, he is dedicating his experience and scientific knowledge to bring solar and energy storage turnkey solutions closer to us, as well as helping VCs and investors to find the next unicorn in the renewable energy sector.
Hyelim Kim, Eng.
VP, Strategic Partnerships
Hyelim brings more than 20 years of experience in international project/product management and partnerships. She prides herself in completing successful win-win projects which bring positive values to all stakeholders. She worked at multinationals such as Samsung Semiconductor and Philips Consumer Electronics, as well as startups, allowing her to understand the reality of both spectrums. She has been working in the innovation ecosystem in various countries and collaborated with international partners during her entire career. Now she is contributing to making our energy consumption environmentally friendly and ultimately reduce our CO2 emissions.
Fernando Correia, MBA
Senior Director, International Business Development
With a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and a Master degree in Business Administration and Strategy, Fernando has over 20 years of International Experience in Planning, Implementation, Business Development, and Systems Management in Telecommunications and Energy, in Brazil, Canada, and in Central America.
He worked on the implementation of more than 1500 radio base stations and dozens of telephone exchanges at the companies like Claro, Tellus, Nokia-Siemens Networks NSN, and BTC-Brazil Tower Company. As Planning Advisor at Hydro-Quebec TransÉnergie, he has worked in Asset Management, Program Management, and Strategy Planning. He served as Experto Principal in Technical Planning at Hondutel, an ITU-T UN Project, in Honduras. He had several consultancies roles in the areas of Business Organization, Planning, and Business Development in Project Management, Solar Energy, and Agriculture.
Now, he is responsible for bringing environmentally responsible customized solutions to all our customers and accompany them throughout the entire process.
H.E. Oumar Keïta, Ph.D.
Strategic Advisor/Africa
H.E. Mr Oumar Keïta holds Ph.D.’s in History and Civilizations and in Political Anthropology after graduating from the CEDS (Center for Diplomatic and Strategic Studies) in Paris. He held the responsibilities of Expert Consultant at the consulting firm Ergo Advisor in New York, from 2008 to 2009 as an Auto-entrepreneur. He was appointed Ambassador of Mali to UNESCO in 2014, chaired UNESCO's Africa Group and Vice-President of UNESCO's Africa Group. He chairs and has chaired several Malian and community associations in France. He is the Executive Director of the IESS (Institute of Strategic Studies for the Sahel). He now leverages his expertise and deep knowledge of the African continent for solar PV and ESS initiatives.
